Patient Participation Group
The Patient Participation Group is a committee run by patients to discuss ways in which the service received at Chelmer Medical Partnership can be improved within the resources available to the practice, to improve communication between the practice and its patients, to provide practical support and to help implement change.
The PPG helps patients to understand how the practice works and helps the practice plan and implement change. As a result of working together the PPG can develop to influence the wider NHS, most notably the decisions that are made on behalf of patients about the services that are to be available to them. Patient Participation Groups are not a forum for complaints or for personal medical needs.
The PPG have virtual or face to face meetings with representatives of Chelmer Medical Partnership and are always seeking new members from all different walks of life.
Why not join and get involved in working with and helping to influence the practice?
