Chelmer Medical Partnership was formed in 2019 from the merger of Humber Road Surgery, Melbourne House Surgery and Tennyson House Surgery. The partnership provides a GP service to approximately 32,000 patients in the Chelmsford area.

The partners and staff have a shared belief in the delivery of high quality, traditional personal family care. Patients’ interests are kept very much to the fore and there is a strong commitment to develop patient services.

Our Humber Road Surgery branch has automatic doors at the entrance with no steps which leads to a welcoming waiting area. Wheelchair access is available throughout the ground floor clinical areas.

Language interpreters are available and BSL interpreters can be booked.

Our Melbourne House Surgery branch has access via automatic entrance doors. All clincal rooms are fully accessible.

Tennyson House Surgery has wheelchair access throughout the ground floor clinical areas and has disabled parking spaces located close to the entrance.
